Philippians 4:8
King James Version (KJV)
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

TRUE and HONEST. What beautiful words to contemplate during the Christmas season. We live in a culture where the gift has become more important than the giver, and the amount spent often more important than the motivation of the spender.

Benton and I hope you’ll take some time, in the commercialism of the season to remember the TRUE and HONEST reason for the season. God’s amazing gift of love, given to us with no expectation other than love in return.

This month, my wish is that you will find the truth and honesty of that love.
Merry Christmas!!

    1. Katie, It's so easy to lose sight of our true blessings this time of year.

  2. Thank you, and remember everyone, homemade gifts are the best because they are part of the giver's heartfelt love for you. Kathleen
